2 Nephi 22:2

Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust, and not be afraid; for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also has become my salvation.

One time for the city we had to re route a drainage pipe cause that same thing was happening. It stunk! mostly because they made us put it under the side walk, but we could not destroy the side walk and had to dig under it. It was a pain. Thats good that yall are getting allot of rain. From what Ive heard yall need it!

This past week I had another chance to go with the Spanish elders in the area. That is always a blast! I got to see a couple of my favorite members. Some of which I had helped reactivate. That was special. Then we taught one of their new investigators. She has 8 kids! Those elders are very blessed in their work. But we are also very blessed. The main part of the week did not have anything cool to report, but the weekend was great!

On Friday evening we went out with on of our members and visited some less actives in the ward. One of the families we visited is also a former investigator. The wife is not a member, but they love the missionaries. While we were there we were talking to them and the less active dad made the comment that he needs to start getting active again so he can be part of scouts. So of course we let our bishop know that! Then across the street is another less active man. He answered the door and he had a strong spirit about him. He told us he knows the LDS church is the true church, but his wife is a devote baptist and he does not want to create tension in the home. He told us how people have tried to get him to change and take away his testimony but he knows with out a doubt this is the truth. He wants to have us over for dinner in 2 weeks, so thats a great step!

On Saturday we had the best lesson ever with Sam and Janet! So we came to find out in the week that another family in the ward knows them as well. So they invited them over to their house to have the lesson. First I have to say we did not tell this family about them, they just found out and went out of the way to set up the appointment for us! We meet at their house and taught the first part of the restoration out of the pamphlet and then we moved to the other room to watch the Restoration video with them to explain the story of Joseph Smith. The spirit was so strong the whole time. I love teaching the Restoration, my testimony of it is so strong and I love sharing it with everyone.

Then on Sunday one of our investigators came to church for the first time! Her name is kayla. She could not stay the whole time, because she is one of our members nurses. So she had to head back to her. But it was really cool to see her there for the first time. Hopefully she liked it!

That wraps up this week!
